This course introduces students to the creative use of the computer as a design tool and illustrative medium. Topics include elementary digital techniques as they relate to principles of design, color, composition, and spatial relationships. Students will create a series of illustrations involving freehand and technical drawing, rendering and composition using traditional and digital tools. Students will develop the skills to transfer images onto tangible items using the heat press.
